Hi! We're Rise and Shine, Downtown Victoria's morning Toastmasters club. We have been helping Victoria residents – like you – take their communication and leadership skills to the next level for over 70 years.
Whether you're a business professional, artist, entrepreneur, politician, or you're already an experienced speaker – we can help you develop your skills to reach new heights.
Our diverse membership provides Rise and Shine members unique perspectives from differing experience levels to help support you no matter where you're at in your carrier or your life.
Our agenda is designed to help you develop your skills in making both prepared and impromptu speeches; provide an opportunity to give supportive speech evaluations; enhance your listening skills, and develop your mentoring skills.
We meet online and in-person from 7:00am to 8:10am PST every Thursday. Our in-person location is 8 Bastion Square, Victoria, BC (inside of the Pacific Design Academy building) in suite #200.
